As the design lead for the compost caddy, I led the development of the product strategy and defined its functions and features. Collaborating closely with the design team, we generated innovative product concepts that combined timeless forms and thoughtful details with a strong emphasis on functionality. Taking on the responsibility of validating the user experience design, I oversaw the creation of multiple prototypes and conducted extensive testing to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience for our customers.

The compost caddy is designed to dock conveniently on the side of Simplehuman trash cans, promoting the separation of organics from regular trash. This encourages efficient waste management and simplifies the process for users.
